Accidentally "pasted" webpage to desktop, cannot remove it!

I cannot move the page enough to access a corner that might let me delete the page....this is on a laptop. The page had a cute video/audio but it plays on & on and is using precious resources.

I have already searched & deleted any file with this webpage name.

Do a Control, Alt Delete and a window will open that will show that page and other browser pages.
Click end, and it will go down. Unfortunately all your open browser windows will close too, but then you can start all over again.

You can always just shut down or restart, too.

How can I delete my image from google images. I have deleted my image from my webpage but it still shows up in Google search. What do I do?

1. Click the Add background image link in the Google homepage's lower-left corner
2. Sign in to your Google Account (if you aren't already signed in)
3. Select Editor's picks
4. Scroll to the bottom of the list and choose your favorite color
5. Click Select

Keep in mind that, like all background images on the Google homepage, changing it to single color will also change Google's logo and other homepage text white. You can remove the background at any time, including tomorrow when our homepage returns to normal, by clicking the Remove background image link that appears in the bottom-left corner after you've set up a new background.

Can't access yahoo mail since upgrading to IE8 and Firefox 3.5 browswers. I sign on to Yahoo, hit enter, get a page telling me to pick 2 Security Questions & Answers, I do so & hit enter again --...

Check the webpage address
  • Make sure you have the correct address for the webpage and that you typed it correctly.

  • Try entering “/index.html” at the end of the address.

  • Verify that your hard disk is working correctly, and if necessary repair it.

  • Reinstall Safari 4

If the webpage still won't open, report the problem by opening the Action menu near the upper-right corner of the Safari window (looks like a gear) and choosing “Report Bugs to Apple.”

Browser Enlarged

If part of the web page is not visible on the screen, you may have accidentally dragged it off to the side. Click the green button at the top-left corner of the web page to resize the window to fit on the screen.
If your screen resolution is set to 800 x 600 or less, most web pages won't fit on the screen. If possible, increase resolution to at least 1024 x 768 in System Preferences > Displays.
You may have accidentally hit Command (Apple key) and the plus sign (+) key -- this makes the text bigger. To reduce text size, hit Command and hyphen (-) key.
Finally, if Zoom is turned on in the Universal Access setting, you be looking at only part of the screen -- zoomed in like using a magnifying glass. Hold down Command (Apple key) and ALT key and hyphen (-) to see if this is on -- it will unzoom (zoom out) by one step. Turn this off or on in System Preferences > Universal Access.
I hope that helps.

Yesterday, when I powered up my laptop, everything was all of a sudden enlarged ( the desktp, icons, internet, text, e-mails, EVERYTHING). I know this is probably supposed to be some kind of useful tool...

Your enlarged desktop could be caused by several different things, so I will address each one in the order of likelihood of each one:

1. You may have accidentally changed your Display Settings.

Right-click on your desktop and select Personalize. Scroll down and click on Display Settings. Ensure that your Monitor Resolution is set for the maximum. If not, use your mouse to move the slider bar all the way to the right.

2. You may have accidentally changed the size of text and icons.

Right-click on your desktop and select Personalize. In the bottom left-hand corner, select Ease of Access. About half way down the screen, select Make the computer easier to see. Click on Change the size of text and icons about half way down the screen. If it is not selected, chose the default scale.

3. You may have accidentally turned on the Magnifier.

Right-click on your desktop and select Personalize. In the bottom left-hand corner, select Ease of Access. About half way down the screen, select Make the computer easier to see. About half way down the screen, uncheck the Turn on Magnifier.

To turn off the On-Screen Keyboard on start-up,
right-click on your desktop and select Personalize. In the bottom left-hand corner, select Ease of Access. About half way down, select Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard. Unselect Use On-Screen Keyboard.

To turn off the Narrator on start-up, right-click on your desktop and select Personalize. In the bottom left-hand corner, select Ease of Access. About a third of the way down, select Use the computer without a display. Unselect Turn on Narrator.

I hope this helps. If so, please remember to rate my post.
