I suspect it is the thermal fuse. Seen here. You will need to determine what caused it to blow. on these machines the blower wheel is notorious for getting loose and causing the element to over heat. This makes the heating element shut down faster and takes a long time to dry the clothes.
YOU NEED TO POP THE TOP UP BY GETTING A FLAT SCREWDRIVER OR SOMETHING IN THE GAP UNDER THE LID.
ONCE YOU GOT THE TOP OFF THERE SOULD BE TWO SCREWS HOLDING THE FRONT ON.

she may have tripped the house breaker. unplug the machine and check the breaker on the house electrical box. plug the dryer back in and see if that will work.
I have a Magic Chef Clothes dryer. Model #YE224LV. Was drying clothes, went back to ckeck and dryer wasn't running. Push botton and nothing. Check circuit breaker everything ok. What do I need to check and how. Just won't start. Thank you!!!
plumber, pop the top on the dryer by pushing on the two clips just under the top on each side. In the back you will see the heater. You want to check the high limit thermostat (this one sits on the top side of the heater) and the thermal fuse (sits on the side about 4 inches down. Unplug the dryer and check them with a meter. If either shows open (no continuity) replace them. Make sure your venting is not clogged up and the heater is not grounded or fractured. Part number for the high limit is 53-0771 and for the thermal fuse is LA-1053. Check these first...Catriver...post back.
