While recording I get blue flashes

Have you tried removing the battery and reinserting it? If that doesn't work, you might try the aiptek support website, although I tried with a problem I had and tech was, shall we say, worthless...my son's friend had a similar problem with the volume ( fading in and out), so he tapped the camera sharply against his hand and it took care of the problem. Good luck..

My camera went dead, with new batteries...

The MPVR uses a rechargeable Li-Ion battery. It sounds lilke you've got a different model. It's hard to make any suggestions without knowing which camera you've got.

Camcorder lcd screen light blue (blank) and camera won't turn off...

Sounds like maybe a connection somewhere inside the camera came loose? Or maybe the camera's firmware (camera's operating system) is damaged? I'm honestly not sure what would cause this. You could try contacting Aiptek customer service or you could post this issue at http://forums.steves-digicams.com/forums/view_forum.php?id=92

and see if anyone there is familiar with this problem.

possible that Aiptek requires a special "header" section (inside file code) of said file to allow view on device...but just a guess

Cant turn it on

If it is still under warranty - send it back to the store. If not contact the manufacturer website for further support. Also look here http://www.fixya.com/support/p448464-aiptek_mpvr_digital_camera/solutions

Mpvr troubleshoot

I own a DV6800 (european version). for the first problem- looks like a weak battery. When the camera was delivered to me, it came with a bad battery and I had it replaced. for the second problem- there is a magnetic reed switch inside the camera and there is a magnet inside the LCD screen. The magnet activates the switch. If it is not turning on automatically then the switch is defective. Or- there is a possiblity that the two failures are related, meaning that the reed switch is only activating for a moment (turning on the power) the after the magnet is not in close proximity (LCD opened), the reed switch will deactivate turning off the unit in 10 seconds. I have opend my unit once because somene forced open the LCD in a wrong way. if you plant to diaasemble the unit, the re are screws under the sticker for control labels. You have to remove this sticke first. I have my DV6800 since Decemmber 2005

My Screen Wont come on (but the Camera Will)

There is a display button on most cameras that you can turn the LCD on and off to conserve battery. Some people like to use the viewfinder so this option is put into some cameras. If the display button is pressed before you turn it off it may save the "last known settings" so every time its turned on and off its still in that state. Look for a menu button or a display button see if you can get it to come back up. Some have a tv out, you could try and plug it into a tv to use as a monitor if it wont come back up. It could be cracked from an impact or the illumination light could be bad. Cracked LCDs are fairly common so thats possible.
