turns out that this problem is due to poor signal strength. once that was fixed through the wireless keyboard troubleshooting, the problem was solved.

This problem comes due to dust, just open your keyboard remove PCB wash it in water along with keys, but make sure you dry it with blower before fixing it.Even after fixing it dont put batteries inside and use it after one day. It must be totaly dry from inside after washing. All the best.

Cannot get ie to connect to web

you may just need to reset your modem and router, turn off both, and cycle the modem on, then the router. once that is done, if you're using windows, hit the windows key and the r key at the same time. type cmd into the dialog box and hit enter. when the black box appears type "ipconfig /release"
then type "ipconfig /renew" no quotes. then see if you are able to access the web. if not type 'ipconfig" and it will give you information about your ip address, come back and tell us what it says you have for an ip

2. Press and hold the reset button on the bottom of the router

Sometimes my wireless keyboard will type multiples of the same character when I've only hit the key once, and then other times it won't respond and will end up typing the first & last letters of a word...

Try plug it in to another USB port while the PC's switched on. It will force the computer to redect your mouse and keyboard and might fix the problem.

Another test would be on another PC or laptop. If it does the same thing then the keys are probably getting stuck down. Has it had anything spilt on it? Try a vacuum over the keys, you'll be suprised what gets caught under the keys (usally paperclips!!).

Replace the keyboard ? It appears that the Function key (Fn) is "stuck" on. Depressing the Fn key (for keys with a Fn function) will "correct" the typing. How do you reset the Function key ?

you probably have something (such as food)stuck under your keys, so when you push down it pushes the board further, so it hits multiple keys. otherwise, you bent your keyboard and need to bring it to a store and get it fixed
