Sounds like you have a broken trackball. Go to your carrier, they might replace it for you for free. If they refuse,the only way to get it up and running again is to open your
blackberry to physically replace the part. If you want somebody else to do

1. From the BlackBerry smartphone home screen, select the Options icon.
2. Select Bluetooth.
3. Highlight the Bluetooth paired device in the list that is experiencing this issue and press the Menu key.
4. Select Device Properties.
5. Set Trusted to Yes.
Go into the Media icon. Hit the BlackBerry® (menu) button and select ‘Explore’. Select‘device memory/home/user/voice notes’. Highlight the voice note and hit the menu button. Select‘Copy’. Hit ‘Up’ twice. Highlight the ringtones folder. Hit the menu button and click on ‘Copy Into’.
If the voice note is stored on the media card:
Go into the Media icon. Hit the BlackBerry® (menu) button and select ‘Explore’. Select‘Media Card/BlackBerry®/voice notes’. Highlight the voice note and hit the menu button. Select‘Copy’. Hit ‘Up’ twice. Highlight the ringtones folder. Hit the menu button and click on ‘Copy Into’.
Now the voice note will be available as a ringtone and can be assigned to a specific individual.
