Question about Sony VPL CS2 Multimedia Projector
My Sony VPL-CS2 casts a nice bright blue rectangle and nothing more. I'm unable to bring up the native menus or get any sort of image or information to display. Connecting video sources to the VGA or yellow "video in" plug makes no difference. The remote menu button also fails to bring up anything. The system only reponds to the power button and the power button on the remote. Where should I start?
Give input signal to the projector and see that if the menu appears or not on the screen.
if menu comes on the screen then put the backgroung color to blue, instaed of black.
if nothing comes on the screen, then the LCD panels are faulty.

reset the settings to factory default and change your cable. if that doesn't help, the polarizer filter on the blue lcd panel is fried due to excessive dust and heat. the optical engine will need to be replaced.
