Question about Toshiba - Floppy disk drive - external - floppy disk - 1.44 MB - USB - black (739542) Floppy Drive
Needed an external floppy disk drive for my laptop and found a Toshiba
on craigslist. After I drove 70 miles round trip to pick it up, I've
realized that it's got some sort of serial port thing (I'm hoping somebody will know what it's called) and not a USB.
What the heck? It looks new -- how old can it be? What kind of converter can I use on it?
Appreciate any help.
Dynex puts out a usb to serial adapter can be bought at best buy for somewhere around 15.00 you will need the drivers from the cd to make it work and then will probably have to set the port it is looking for that should be all you need
