Question about JVC Cybercam GR-D70 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I have lost the original adapter for my GR-D70AS camcorder. While trying to substitute with another it makes a clicking sound so I stopped trying to charge it further. The replacement adapter charges at 9v and 12v at upto 300 mA. Should I continue to charge or seek a different adapter?

Order the original adapter from JVC. The adapter supplies the correct current requirements to operate the battery charge circuit. JVC's web site is JVC.COM. The correct charger will provide up to 1.5 amperes of current for the charge circuit at approx. 11 volts DC. Good Luck Joe Weibel Custom Electronics (customelectronics.org)
