I would check the belt first. If you remove the clutch cover on the left side of the atv, it will give you access to the clutches and belt. The belt can be installed by slipping it over the primary clutch first and rolling it over the secondary (back) clutch. Let me know if you need any more help, Daniel.
The Hawkeye atvs use a roller type clutch which will make more noise than the sportsmans or other polaris atvs anyways, but the rollers are probably getting worn to the point they need replaced if it is a 2007. It is best to have a reputable dealer replace these parts but if you need my assistance let me know I will be happy to help, Daniel.
you must remove the clutches on the left side of the machine. this requires a special puller to remove the front clutch. everything else is straight forward. pullers are available at your dealer or on the web
