Question about Eltax DV-100 DVD Player
I have an Eltax DR-110. Recently, when I play a DVD, I get a picture, music, backing sound like sound effects and distant voices, but no speech. The Eltax is used as my surround sound for sky tv aswell, and the sound is fine on that. All the speakers are connected properly and they are all sounding fine when watching the tele. I have checked the settings and it is still set up for 5.1 surround sound, and all the cables seem to be in place correctly. I have heard that speech comes from the centre speaker - is that correct. The volumes are turned up on all the speakers. Have you got any suggestions? Thanks Bubs
Yes what you heard is correct, look for center speaker connection. If it is correct then connect it thru coaxel or digital out and see.
