Question about Onkyo DX-C390 6-Disc CD Changer
There are a lot of bad reviews of this cd-player for this reason. There used to be bad reviews of it on the Onkyo website; now there are'nt any reviews at all. The cd-changer is a lemon, but it doesn't appear that Onkyo has any intentions of providing a permanent fix for its customers. Mine is doing the same thing.

I might have a solution. I have I think the same CD player (3 CD changer) and it got stuck too. For my problem it would play only 1 disc, but it would not open, so I couldn't get my CD's out.
To solve, I poked a thin metal stick underneath the CD player door. I think anything that is thin and strong will work, because basically you're just trying to pry it open. (It might be safest to try this when it's unplugged.) Doing that, I was able to get the door open. I removed the CD's. Then I closed the door again. After this it worked fine, so keeping my fingers crossed it's okay now.
Hope it works for someone else out there having the problem.

Usually there is a lttle hole in the front panel near the eject button. All you need to is insert a pin into the hole and just pull open the trey.
The button in the little hole releases the locking mechanism so the trey can move out freely.
