In that case, your pc might have a conflict.. it maybe the version of the display driver.. perform a clean install on the video card driver by doing this.. assuming that your PC's OS is WinXP..
1. On your desktop right click the icon My Computer and click properties..
2. On the System properties click Hardware then click Device Manager..
3. On the device manager window look for the display adapters then click the + sign on the left side..
then it will shows the display adapter you have on your pc..
4. Right click your display adapter then click uninstall.. from there your pc will remove the display adapter you select then it will ask you to reboot..
5. Now were assuming at this time that your pc has been rebooted.. Browse your Display driver and then install..

Tips for a great answer:
Step 1 Make sure the second monitor is connected.
Step 2 Right-click on the Windows' desktop, then select Properties. This will open the Display Properties dialog.
Step 3 Select the Settings tab. This is where you set your monitor resolution, we'll come back to that...
Step 4 Click on the Advanced button. A number of tabs be displayed, select the NVIDIA tab that says "Geforce xxxx " or "Quadro xxxx ". The "xxxx" will be the model of your graphics card. Click the button here labeled Start the NVIDIA Control Panel.
Step 5 In the Task list on the left, under Display, select Set up multiple displays. Then set the nView Display Mode parameter to Horizontal Span. Click the Apply button.
Before proceeding, confirm that the second monitor is now working.
Step 6 Set Touch's settings for the second monitor as described int he section below.

click start control panel display change display settings adjust resolution this may vary depending on your operating system you should a no 1 and a no 2 with detect and identify keep an eye on the screen when you select the number tabs this may vary depending on your operating system when you select the no 2 tab this should be the extended desktop always click apply after making any changes
or click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to monitors right click select scan for hardware changes
