In that case, your pc might have a conflict.. it maybe the version of the display driver.. perform a clean install on the video card driver by doing this.. assuming that your PC's OS is WinXP..

1. On your desktop right click the icon My Computer and click properties..
2. On the System properties click Hardware then click Device Manager..
3. On the device manager window look for the display adapters then click the + sign on the left side..
then it will shows the display adapter you have on your pc..
4. Right click your display adapter then click uninstall.. from there your pc will remove the display adapter you select then it will ask you to reboot..
5. Now were assuming at this time that your pc has been rebooted.. Browse your Display driver and then install..

hope this will help..

I have a Dell Dimension 2400 that I am running dual monitors on. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 professional from Windows XP and now I can't get both monitors to run at the same time. I have a Nvdia...

You should have 2 video ports on the 8400 GS card. One is the standard 15 pin VGA port and the other is the DVI port. You should be able to use these ports on the card to connect dual monitors. If you use the video port integrated on the motherboard you will bypass the 8400 GS card. Here's a link from Microsoft about running dual displays:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/organization/twomonitors.aspx
The other issue is whether your monitors are DVI compatible.

Need to connect 3 monitors. Want to use either a Nvidia 290 or ATI Radeon 9250 plus the VGA port. Installing the dual-video card disables the VGA port, cannot get it back. Help!!!

Use your AGP dual-video card for two and using a PCI VGA card for the third. It is best if the same manufacturer video driver is used for both cards, as two different ones could be problematic.

New graphics card problems with my Presario SR5350F...

Make sure you plug in any auxiliary power cables are are required for the video card.

Is the card used. Has it ever shown signs of life?

Go into windows via integrated graphics and install the latest drivers.

After that I would go into your bios with integrated graphics and turn off intergrated graphics. Look around if there's like a setting that's like switch to PCIx graphics or something. After the restart try to use your monitor though your video card.

I have a Silicon Image 164 ADD DVI card added to my HP desktop DVI-D access card in an effort to get a dual monitor configuration. I get an exact clone in the second monitor. I have an HP compaq desktop...

If the Intel graphic card is part of the motherboard, you need to disable this in the BIOS. You need to install the Silicon grpahic driver, then you will be able to configure the screen resolution etc for each monitor.

Setting up dual monitors with NVIDIA 7300 GS Graphics Adapter

so...
your computer don't recognize your nvidia graphic card in PCI Express slot.
you are runing now with computer's integrated graphic card?
if so then you won't have dualview option. in this case it looks for me like you've installed in the wrong way your graphic card.

your NV GeForce 7300 GS has 2 video output?
if yes then you should have the option for 2 monitors on nVIDIA control panel (i have check my nVIDIA GeForce 7600gt and in my case this option is present but is enabled only if i connect the second monitor, so try do so)

you have installed the latest nVIDIA drivers from the official website? http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

check if your video card is corect installed start/run type in " devmgmt.msc ". it will open device manager and under the display adapter tab you should see what video card you use now.

Graphics Card Card

you should be fine with the PSU that you have currently got but i would recommend upgrading it to something above 400W.

there is a graphics card i would recommend which is a Sapphire ATi Radeon HD 2600 PRO. you can look it up here.

it will support dual monitor at 1080p which uses two DVI.

I have 2 monitors a syncmaster 920N and 216bw.Both were working fine until I had a system restore now only one works. What do I have to do?

Configuring your displays
Connect your second monitor, and then restart your computer so that it detects the new monitor. Once you have restarted your computer, you'll need to adjust your display settings by following these steps:
1.
Click the Start menu, and then click Control Panel.
2.
Click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display.

Once you connect your second monitor, you need to adjust your display settings.
3.
In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab.
4.
Click the monitor icon labeled 2, and then select the Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor checkbox.

Extend your Windows desktop to your second monitor.
Troubleshooting: If you do not see two monitor icons, your computer might not support multiple displays. First, make sure that you have Windows XP installed. Then, visit Microsoft Update, click Custom Install, and install any available hardware updates. You may also need to visit your computer manufacturer's Web site to install an updated display driver. If you still do not see two monitor icons, you may need to install an additional display adapter, as described earlier in this article.
5.
If necessary, drag the monitor icons so that they are arranged in the same way as the monitors on your desk. Click the Identify button to indicate which monitor is 1 and which monitor is 2.
dualmonitor_06.gif
Drag the monitor icons to match the physical arrangement of your monitors.
6.
Click Apply. Windows XP will activate your new monitor.
7.
Click OK.
dualmonitor_07.jpg
A dual monitor setup enables you to view the same image side by side.
Once your monitor is set up, you can use your mouse to grab the title bar of a window and drag it to your new display. If a window does not move when you drag it, double-click the title bar first, and then drag it. Having two monitors will forever change the way you work with your computer. Be creative and experiment with the sizing of application windows and what information you can keep in constant view while doing multiple tasks.
