What program did you uninstal? and what is the exact error code that you get on this blue screen?
The code is required as it relates to the type of Software/Hardware error that's causing the problem.

WINDOWS XP INSTALLATION

- Start your old window in safe mode And follow these steps

- Return BIOS settings to their default levels. An overclocked or misconfigured BIOS can cause all sorts of random issues, including BSODs.
- Update drivers for your hardware.just go to site of your laptop manufacturer Once there enter the model number OR service tag of the laptop then request driver (usually found in the web site's "Support Section"). There you should be able to find all the drivers for your model laptop Most Blue Screens of Death are hardware or driver related so updated drivers could fix the cause of the STOP error.

If problem still exists, then I will suggest you to get Intel software partner reliable program Reginout to fix your annoying blue screen problem.

Ihave blue screen after my laptop just shut down

If you didn't get to log in try this.Reboot, tap the F8 key until you get to the advanced start up screen. Click on last known good configuration.
If you logged in it will not work so try to boot in safe mode. (again tap the F8 key on reboot)
The blue screen is a configuration error. Either hardware or software.
Hardware could be bad, (memory, hard drive).
Software could be any thing, (an update, new install).
If you just did a windows update and the blue screen happened I would boot to safe mode and uninstall the update.
Control panel, add/remove programs.
You might need to check the box in the top right to show updates.
Find the latest update and click remove.

Blue screen error on windows vista home premium 64 bit

Without the error code, I will address the 'BSOD' in general here. Normally, this will happen when there is a driver fault with one (or more) of your hardware. Have you recently installed software? Older versions of programs that are not Vista approved will also cause this.
Will your computer start in Safe Mode?
You can also do a Repair of Vista using the System Recovery Options. (Choose the "Repair" option when prompted - this will tell you what is actually causing the Blue Screen.
Here is a complete 'how-to' on using the System Recovery:

Hung, rebooted, shows purple screen on vista desktop

can you give additional information? the purple screen could also be the dreade BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH. do get to see any error message or stop code? can you try to boot using LAST KNOW GOOD CONFIGURATION? by pressing F8 when your computer starts and in the advance boot menu select LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION.
normally vista will repair itself when you restart it. was vista able to repair the OS?
Blue screen can be caused by several factors it could be both hardware and software. for software it could be caused by any new software/program installed or updates installed. for hardware it could be from your hard drive to memory depending on the error message. but at this point we shall presume it to be caused by a software and could have corrupted your vista file or hive of our vista.
first option is if you can still go tosafe mode try to do a system restore click start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore and choose a highlighted date on the calendar to the left when your computer works well and restore your computer to that date
if you are still having problem get your vista cd ready we may need to fix some files in your computer
boot to cd with your vista inside your cd rom drive. let your windows load up and when you get to see the window welcome setup screen choose repair then type chkdsk /r
still lots to be done but for now let us assume one of the fixes is within this reply

i know now,we have the same version of laptop..and your using vista home preium right..well anyway, thats normal..cos vista really boots too slow..so when u were logged in,so,if it must and not important, disable all things that were being activated or the atart up program..
and that thing really goes after u installed updates..
the only solution is,be patient..
