Question about Magellan RoadMate 300 GPS Receiver
I might use my Magellan to navigate me to maybe Cincinnati, OH. The next time I use it, I might be in Dayton. However, when I hit "locate" or put in the adress of where I want to go, the Magellan thinks I'm still in Cincinnati and gives me directions starting from my last location. When I turn it off and then back on later, it is unable to correct itself and find my new location. How can I fix this?
Power it off. unplug the antenna and plug it back in. Make sure it is snugly inserted. Mine does that every now and then. It works everytime i do this. Somehow the contacts fail over use.

Turn it on and let sit until it locates itself mine does the same thing only when moving down the road but when I stop it seems to work itself out and then works fine till I turn it on going down the road again
