Unusual that it is asking for this, normally you have to change the cmos battery before this occurs. If you mean what is called the "power on password", this is a security lock and will need Toshiba to unlock it. Can you clarify if the laptop can get into the bios, or is this locked out by the password request?
What i did when this happened to me was to locate the motherboard battery, removed it for about 30 secs and put it back in. Doing this will reset your bios.
Make sure to unplug the machine first before doing so.
not without the current password. some of the newer laptops dont store the password in the bios, its on another chip. you may be able to call toshiba nad get a backdoor password if you acn prove ownership.
no i'm affraid that the bios is locked and you cannot reset, you need the password to access the laptop. try "toshiba" as the password and see what it does
