Question about Plantronics Audio Players & Recorders

1 Answer

Never had any problems with my plantronics 665 bluetooth headset. Starting yesterday, it would not connect with my phone though it is fully charged. I've tried turning both devices off and leaving it off for a while. Turning it back on i try to manually connect but my phone says cannot connect to plantronics 665. Could someone help advice where the problem might be? Thank you, Le-Hugh.

I tried deleting the headset from the phone device list. Turned the phone off, removed the battery for a min or two and turn everything back on. I now try to pair the headset as if setting it up for the first time and everything is working again.

Plantronics k100 loses connection and reconnects mid call how to solve this problem

First, try deleting the K100 out of your phone and, if you can, remove the battery from your phone. Once the phone reboots, try pairing the K100 back up to the phone and see if that resolves the issue.

Even though the volume is turned all the way up on both my cell phone and on my plantronics 220,both fully charged,I can barely hear any type of call. whether its a given or recieved call.

Try to delete the bluetooth from the phone, and re-pair it or subscribe back on the phone. It may be that your headset is old and needs to be replaced. If this does not work look at the Plantronics M100 bluetooth headset.

I have included the users guide for the Plantronics Explorer 220 headset.

My Plantronics 665 Bluetooth headset went into a locked weird mode (no lights, no pairing, no turn off) The lights enabling feature is not working as it should. I doesn't turn off when keeping the...

Try letting the power on the headset deplete and then try recharging the headset. Not sure why you are having a problem with the headset not powering down, but that will generally take care of it. Sometimes if you don't turn off the phone it can lock the link between the phone and headset and in which case the headset will not turn off.

Everything I read on it indicates that the only way to reset it is to let the battery completely die, which takes up to 7 days if you have a full charge on it. Put it in a ziplock bag and put it in the freezer and the battery should drain overnight. Charge it back up and it should work fine again! If you try this, squeeze as much air out of the bag before closing, so there's as little moisture as possible.

When I make a call using the bluetooth, I can hear who I am talking to through the bluetooth, but they can't hear me?????

Make sure both devices are fully charged. Turn off your phone and disconnect the battery for about 30 seconds (this helps to reset the phone). Make sure there are no other bluetooth devices interfering with the connection. Turn off your headset and carefully follow the pairing instructions on the link below for the Plantronics Discovery 925.

Bluetooth has lost connection with phone and I can't get it back

You should delete the headset from the "paired devices" list on the phone and completely redo the pairing process, it sounds like the two have gotten into some kind of wierd state.

If you need help with this please include the make and model of your phone.

Plantronics Explorer 220 bluetooth won't pair with LG NV3 phone. It's in discovery mode and I'm getting the red/blue flashing on the bluetooth like the manual says, but it just keeps searching and will not...

Well I got it working, of course, try turning the phone off on again instead of just the bluetooth, it worked. I should have done that before posting the question.

220 Plantronics bluetooth instructions

Start with the device off but fully charged. Press and hold the call control button for 8 seconds; at this point, you'll see the light flash blue then red. You'll have two minutes to connect it to your new phone. Use the passkey 0000 after your phone finds the headset.

New cell phone won't "see" bluetooth earpiece

The headset will automatically pair with the last device that it was paired with. You may want to remove that just in case. I am sending the users guide along with this. Also always start with the blue tooth turned off, the pass key is 0000 (four zeros).
