If u buy a new lcd the problem will presist because the LED circuite IC is faulty u need to change that one and its not an easy task though

and its might be the flex cable aswell

My phone had gotten wet maybe a week ago.And then my phone said that my memory was full so i deleted my messages. And then i went to my contacts and then it said they were all deleted and i didnt delete...

You need to try Silica Gel Packets. There was a good article on associatedcontent.com that explains how to dry an iPod, MP3 player, cell phones, or any electronics. You need to place your device in a zip lock bag with Silica Gel Packets. Silica Gel will remove all the moisture from the phone and its components, something air drying will not do!
Just Google "Silica Gel Packets" and you will find several companies selling these products. There is also a web site called: http://www.SilicaGelPackets.com that has them.

My lg ryhthm phone got wet and now its stuck in headset mode

Your phone's headphone jack port is shorting. Try turning the phone off then dry it with a hair dryer for 5 minutes. Turn it back on and see if it helps, if it doesn't well you now have a permanent damage on your phone, its probably the headphone port controller, its busted...

I got it wet, I immediately removed the battery and let it dry thoroughly. It turned back on but displays a screen I've never seen with the Verizon logo and a quaint message that says " LGVX8500 Downloader...

well i guess its late, but every time one of my phones got wet i would take the battery off and dry it with a hair blower. ( the ones that women use to dry their hair). trust me , it works. just dont put it too close or it would burn it.

NOKIA N95 BLANK SCREEN

It must be a connection problem, to the LCD, or the light is not working.
Can only be sorted by looking at it really.
Back to Telstra I'm afraid. If it's new let them sort it out, if it's not try a reset take the sim card out first then input this code *#7780# (Best to use this code as a last resort)
Give it time to work.
