Red Sparkles on Samsung R5052

Hi there, I saw a post where you suggested you know how to fix this issue. It happens on any signal input, from HDMI 1080i, to component in on my XBOX 360.
The picture looks good mostly, especially bright areas, but and large dark areas have red pixels constantly firing to give a sparkle effect.

I am reasonably technically competent, but the amount of screws to remove the back was a little daunting, not sure if I should remove ALL of them and assume the back will come off correctly. After taking one or two laptops apart for upgrades, I know that things can go badly quickly.

I have the TV plugged into a UPS in the surge protected side, to hopefully regulate against voltage fluctuations!
