No picture??? my tv is old but has worked great forever!! until last night when you turn it on you can hear everything but the screen is solid whtie with lines like a piece of notbook paper! and it shuts off by itself!!! is is fixable or a big heavy piece of trash?????

You have defective Vertical output IC, Replaced the Vertical IC that is defective.

that your Power supply unit has problems

Brand new WD-65737 2 weeks old. Works great. I turn it off at night and when I press power to turn on in morning, the green light blinks and no picture. No matter how long I wait, the picture will not...

There's something wrong in the power source of the tv , very bad sign on a tv just 2 weeks old. Just take it back, not worth the hassle.

Sound no pic

Convergence ICs are STK392-110 you will need two of them they are available at the link I am posting and they give free instalation instructions with pics and free tech support so you can do the repair yourself.Heres the link.
