hi; do check the AC cord if still good. if your LCD TV wont start , even if you press the power button ,
it has a power supply failure, maybe some capacitor has bloated or changed value,
try to watch this http://www.youtube.com
if you know how to solder, or even disassemble the back of LCD TV.
if not try to call a repair technician. thanks ,, hope this helps........
There should be an alternative compatible power cable for your TV, such as the cable to your home PC computer, if you desperately need to use it of course. Or for replacement Just go to any electronic store and ask them if they have the power cable for the model of your TV.
Write down your TV model and ask them if they have the cable for it, if they dont just ask them for an alternative cable which " Will " with your specific model.
Most likelly you have had a power surge through your house and it blew the fuse inside the tv. If you take the back panel off the fuse will be by the power cord becarefull and pop out the old fuse if its burnt or the metal wire is missing on the inside then you just need to replace the fuse with the same amps and voltage as the old fuse. If you read the motherboard where the fuse goes it will tell you what type of fuse it calls for.And when tvs work fine one dau and then the next wont even make a sound when hitting the power button 9 out of 10 times the fuse is the issue. GOOD LUCK too you and HOPE this helps!!! Good day!!
maayong buntag dong,,you can do it by your self i teach you how,Open the back cover of your TV.Along with the AC power cord there is a component called varistor this varistor serves a protection for over voltage. Its color is green round shape with two terminal pins just remove it from the board replace the fuse with same rating and your tv will work again..anyway im from bicol albay.
Hi I have a Samsung Tantus Dynaflat 32 inch flat screen TXN3298hf that all of a sudden stopped working...no power no nothing. We opened up the back and found that a 5 amp fuse had blow. This fuse regulates that power supply to the tv and can be found at the end of the power cord prior to the circuit board. Hope this helps.
