Question about 2wire (1000-000005-002) 802.11g/b Wireless Adapter
Have a 2wire 802311g p/n1000-00023-000 an older card. got the drives from 2wire.It will work fine for about 2 min. or fust enough time to get to where tou may want to go, and connectionis lost. box comes uo saying 2 or more location found. i can see my netgear a liksys and others but wont connect to any!!! Have to unplug and pugin the card on the laptop, it finds it a connection, connects to it, then drops it. tried using other dirvers from 2wire but no luck eather wont see the driver or same thing happens. runing xp. thks for any help.. rob
Hi, had the same prob. I was able to fix it. The file set you downloaded for the driver (TWWGPC_TEMP) has a file in it called Wireless Cfg, run that if you haven't already, that will configure the card. Then open the folder CMG and run the Setup file. This will install the Wireless Client Card Utility. In the utility add the network(s) you connect with to My networks. After I did that the intermittency of the connection went away. I hope it works for you too.
