I am not able to view the pics that are on my SD card. I have to move them to the phone before I can view them. A friend of mine has the same phone and can view both from the phone and SD card. I have set my phone just like his and still can not view the pics without moving them to phone.

Your computer needs to be able to read an sd card. pull out your card and put it in an adapter this will allow you to link to the computer and download pics. Go to computer to search for my pics. You should be able to view pics in this screen.
The pics and music files have to be in the folders set up by the phone.in order for you to access them. Insert the card in your pc and move those files to the proper folders. Those folders will be "my_pics" my_music" etc.
there should be a little slot on the side tht says: micro SD, all you do is enter your memory card into ur phone and then save every picture to your memory card, then you remove the memory card and put it into ur computer.
You need the drivers that are made for your phone, in some cases as long as you have a sd card in the phone windows will see the card but won't see onboard memory, usually you need software that is made by lg for the phone to work on a pc,motorola has motorola phone tools, I have seen a lg suite, but do not know if it works with your model. At the moment the lg site is down and I can not get any info on your phone to see what you need for software or driver, keep checking the LG site for manual and software, once you find out what you need and if they charge for all this, post back what you need and I might be able to let you know something.
all you have to do is insert the card into the phone, go to your picture, hit the options button, go to and click manage pics from the options menu, mark the pics that you want to move to your phone, hit the options button again and select move, from that menu select move to phone.
Hi pinakbet, the more detail the better I say. :)
I had a problem similar to this with an SD card, the way I fixed it was to backup all of the data from the card onto my PC, then format the card totally wiping everything off it. Then putting it back into the phone so that it will reformat it so that the phone can read it. Then try again, if the problem persists, I would say the card itself is faulty, take it back if it is still under warranty, or if not, I'm afraid it looks like you may have to purchase a new one. Hope this helps in some way! Si :)
