Question about Mitsubishi WS-65611 65" Rear Projection Television
My Mitsubishi WS65611 remote has power but does not work. The TV will only turn on with the front panel power button. Once on, none of the front panel buttons function except when any of them are depressed, the screen blanks out for 1-2 seconds then comes back on. There is a picture but it's a good thing it's stuck on the HDTV device so I can at least watch TV until I find a repair for it. The sound is thankfully stuck on a reasonable volume because it can't be changed by any of the buttons. Any help would be appreciated. I've pressed the reset button many times and have unplugged and replugged many times. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org If this happened to you and you found a solution. Thanks in advance for any help
Same problem here too
is there any other solutions ??
I will try to unhook wiring and see if remote works then

This TV is known for the buttons going bad. You can remove the speaker grille to gain access to the wires for the panel. You may have to pull off the font access panel to get to the connector. There will be two of them, one for the input, other for the control panel buttons. If the buttons are bad, unhooking them will make the TV work fine with remote. I believe the connector is labeled ZR and is not the one with the thicker black wires (shieled video wires). Unhooking is my fix for this problem as replacing the buttons seems to be only a temporary fix.
