Question about Computers & Internet
We have a viewsonic va1916w monitor weve had it for almost 12 months, it was working fine this morning but when i turned it on half hour ago the screen was tainted red. still works no loss of pixels or anything like that its all just red! tried changing colour bit and res and everything else i can think of but i dont know what else to do! Help!
I'm not sure if this will solve the problem but it is worth a shot.
I have a 19" Proview that does the same thing only in green.
I finally chased the problem to the VGA cable. When I move the cable around at the back of the computer, it straightens out and works fine. If your monitor has a changeable VGA cable try that. If it is like mine where it has a fixed VGA cable, you might be able to have someone replace the cable. If that does not solve the problem, it is probably the inverter board or something inside the unit.
