Question about Hitachi 42HDM12 42 in. Plasma Television
There is a horizontal line or seam going from the bottom of the screen to the top about every 10 inches or so and when it hits the top it starts over. Hope you can help. Thanks
The problem of your tv set is in the horizontal section! lost of horizontal voltage.. try to isolate capacitors around it then check it with ohmeter.

Sounds like you have AC leakage somewhere. If you have cable TV, disconnect it from the TV and see if the line dissapears. If it does then most likely it is a faulty cable box or a bad ground on the cable system.
