How do you REPLACE all 3 screens on a Sony kp-51ws520 tv?

I would like to know how to replace it myself. Wii controler assc. went through all 3 screens. TV still works, just has cracks through out it. I dont have the $$ to take it to the shop to get it fixed. I did find all 3 screens through a repair guy for $50. How easy is it for myself to fix it!?!?

Thanks

I just want to know where you were able to get all 3 screens for $50.00, they are telling me anywhere from $475.00 to over $500.00 here in Delaware. Please let me know. Also, how did you make out with doing the repair on your own? I appreciate any help you can give me. You can email me at cmrldj21@yahoo.com Thanks!

Sony kp-51ws520 when turned on just has standby light flashing . the rest is all dead, no picture or voice.

Standby flashing light shows that tv got some internal problem. How many times standby light is flashing is info that provide info about what section of tv got problem.
Count standby light blinks and let me know, there would be 3 seconds long pause in blinks so count pause to pause.

I have a Sony KP-51ws520. I cannot power on. says stand bye and blinks 9 times.PLEASE HELP it is only 5 years old and they says some of the parts are no longer available.

Those LED flashs are a fault indicator...First thing to do is to try a reset:

With the TV plugged in push and hold down the reset button on your remote then press the power button on the the TV and then release the reset button once the screen has come up.

9 blinks means, "Zero Crossing Detector" and the probable cause locations listed are "D6166 or D6114 is open

If you are handy you can replace D6301 diode and it fixed the problem. You can buy that diode at partstore.com for $3. good luck

If still no luck then this is going to require a serviceman.

I have the Sony tv that blinks 9 times

My sony KP-51WS520 blinks 9 time and once in awhile will power on, but lately it does nothing at all. To replace the parts you can try searspartsdirect.com. I tried to replace one part hoping it would fix the problem, but just ordered part A1054157A based on a recommendation of a different comment posted on this web site.

Sony KP-51WS520 Stand by flashes 5 times

When a Sony TV flashes five times, that means that there is an AKB circuit fault.
This means that there is something wrong with the video.
When you get this error, several IC and components concerning the video signal must be tested and eventually replaced.
