Within instant messenging all you do is to find a contact you wish to talk to, you should have a display picture on the conversation window and right next to that is a picture of a webcam, all you do is click on there which will send an invite to the other reciepient to either accept or decline. Or click into Actions on the menu toolbar and select "starting sending webcam".

hi somisettiky, the laptop has a crystal eye icon on the desktop by default so you can take picture using it. if you have yahoo messenger, you can use that to as a webcam, same with skype or other video conferencing softwares.
guest, the crystal eye does not have a time delay shot be default, you may use a utility from acer to optimize the use of your mounted camera.
yeah sure it is made for that purpose for video conf and picture taking just go to start>all programs>Acer Crystal Eye folder u will find the icon there just make a shortcut from there to ur desktop if u dont find it there then just go to "C:\Windows\Acer Crystal Eye Webcam.exe"
otherwise ur webcam utility is not installed just download the utility from
i think you cant use the built in cam from your acer to used for video conferencing using logitect account. but you can disable the built in cam of your acer and install logitect to your acer to continue loging in you logitec account.
