Question about HP OfficeJet V40 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have an Officejet v40 that's about four years old and when I copy something it does'nt come out even on the paper. The image isn't evenly spaced on the paper.
What is happening is that the roller that pulls the paper through is slipping so it is pulling the paper through unevenly. You also want to make sure that the guides are snug up against your paper when you feed it through. If it has a lot of slack it can have this problem. If you open the ADF (where you put paper to copy, scan, or fax) like if there was a jam. There will be a roller You can clean these with alcohol and a clean lint free cloth. This could solve your problem but if it return the roller and the pad will have to be replaced.
Hope this helps
