Help with GE pro series 3 line phone

We need a manual or help with a GE pro series 3 line phone. Our line 1 works, but we can not put it on hold and calls do not roll to line 2. Any idea where we can find a manual?

This might help, too - one trick you can sometimes use to get any available literature for your phone relates to the above comment from JIM1DER (nice work there - very useful!): -------------- >>Feb 13, 2009 >>- Actual manual here >> >>other manuals for all GE & RCA & Scenium products here >> -------------- Go to this URL: Now search for your own phone model number (read the instructions for inputting the right numbers first!), and if it returns anything, try clicking on the link(s) - but you may or may not get a file to download, even if you get the correct results... For example, when I did a search for my phone at the site, it showed 2 files available, but all it showed was the following "URL": - /public/ (- which is NOT a valid URL!) - that got me a "Directory Listing Denied" message when I clicked on it, and a "Not Valid URL" message when I tried to copy the URL as shown, plus neither way gave me any file to download - so I came up with this workaround... 1)COPY the ACTUAL URL from the Results page to Notepad; I use "Copy Link Location" in Firefox, by hovering over the result link and right-clicking to get the 'copy link' choice - do NOT copy the "URL" that shows - it won't work - you need the URL link "behind" the one you see. (You can see any difference between them by hovering on it and looking at your lower left browser window, in the Status Bar.) 2)ADD your own phone's model number to the end of the URL you came up with, following the site rules: leave out any spaces, dashes, the last few numbers, any letters, etc. 3)ADD .pdf to the end. (Make sure you have no spaces in the URL!) Then copy the complete new URL you just created to your FTP, download program, or browser address line and cross your fingers - you just might be able to download your own phone's available literature now! For example, to get what they had on my phone, a GE model #2-9380A, I took the actual link URL and added my model number: 29380 plus .pdf to get this new URL (yours will be different): Using this URL, I was able to download a 2-page feature sheet for the 2-9380A; apparently it's all they have on file for it, but it's more than I've found anywhere else. Good luck, hope this helps!

How do you set the timer in fifteen min. intervals? Especially when there are 4 pegs?

1) You need a timer that breaks 24-hour day into 15 minute intervals.
Hampton timer and other timers with movable trippers cannot be set for 15 minute intervals.

2) All mechanical plug-in dial-type timers have 1/2 hour intervals or more

a) For example Woods 59366: sold at Lowes as Utilitec 0148297 or Target as Westek TM series
b) Or GE 52012 sold at Home Depot

3) If you want 15 minute intervals, you need digital timer.

a) For example GE 15091 sold at Home Depot
b) Woods 59377 sold at Lowes as Utilitec 015671 or Target as TE06

Need to activate Music on hold mode

The newer model RCA phone will do music on hold. There is a jack on the back of each phone, you plug a cd player or MOH device into it and it will play on ALL of the phones(not just that one).

Hi. I just bought one of these phones and wanted more information than what the manual offered, so I went to the GE website to see what they had. Below I put what I found, maybe it can help you. Click on the blue box that towards the bottom left for the manual for download.

After the link, I also put extra information tabout this phone that helped me find the manual for you- it wasnt easy to find. OK, best of luck.

If you are looking for a message on hold port, you will not find one. Technically speaking, this is not a phone "system." There are 2 options for using messages on hold with your phones:
1) Using a message on hold player with a built-in adapter
2) Using a message on hold player and a separate adapter

The best option can be a little tricky to determine. We work with hundreds of small businesses that have 2,3,4 line phones and can help you figure this out and deliver the best solution. Please call me.

Storing memory numbers

1 - Lift the receiver and get the dial tone.
2 - Hit 'Store'
3 - Enter the number you wish to store in the phone
4 - Hit the store button again
5 - Hit the memory button you wish to store the number into
6 - Hang up!

This should store the number wherever you want to put it. Remember if you want to store it in one of the 'lower' positions (second line of the memory index card) push the 'Shift' button before you push the memory button for that location.
