Question about Lands Phones
We need a manual or help with a GE pro series 3 line phone. Our line 1 works, but we can not put it on hold and calls do not roll to line 2. Any idea where we can find a manual?
This might help, too - one trick you can sometimes use to get any available literature for your phone relates to the above comment from JIM1DER (nice work there - very useful!): -------------- >>Feb 13, 2009 >>- Actual manual here >>http://188.8.131.52/public/29439.pdf >>other manuals for all GE & RCA & Scenium products here >>http://www.thomsonnetwork.com/EN/Public/InstructionBook/IBVeritySearch.htm -------------- Go to this URL: http://www.thomsonnetwork.com/EN/Public/InstructionBook/IBVeritySearch.htm Now search for your own phone model number (read the instructions for inputting the right numbers first!), and if it returns anything, try clicking on the link(s) - but you may or may not get a file to download, even if you get the correct results... For example, when I did a search for my phone at the site, it showed 2 files available, but all it showed was the following "URL": 184.108.40.206 - /public/ (- which is NOT a valid URL!) - that got me a "Directory Listing Denied" message when I clicked on it, and a "Not Valid URL" message when I tried to copy the URL as shown, plus neither way gave me any file to download - so I came up with this workaround... 1)COPY the ACTUAL URL from the Results page to Notepad; I use "Copy Link Location" in Firefox, by hovering over the result link and right-clicking to get the 'copy link' choice - do NOT copy the "URL" that shows - it won't work - you need the URL link "behind" the one you see. (You can see any difference between them by hovering on it and looking at your lower left browser window, in the Status Bar.) 2)ADD your own phone's model number to the end of the URL you came up with, following the site rules: leave out any spaces, dashes, the last few numbers, any letters, etc. 3)ADD .pdf to the end. (Make sure you have no spaces in the URL!) Then copy the complete new URL you just created to your FTP, download program, or browser address line and cross your fingers - you just might be able to download your own phone's available literature now! For example, to get what they had on my phone, a GE model #2-9380A, I took the actual link URL and added my model number: 29380 plus .pdf to get this new URL (yours will be different): http://220.127.116.11/public/29380.pdf Using this URL, I was able to download a 2-page feature sheet for the 2-9380A; apparently it's all they have on file for it, but it's more than I've found anywhere else. Good luck, hope this helps!
