Brother MFC-9440CN Laser Printer is saying toner life end and I just put a new cartridge in.

If you want to reset your Brother MFC 9440N machine so you no longer have the error message: Toner End of Life, do the following:

1. Open the front cover of the 7820N, that is, the cover that allows you to pull out the toner and drum, but don't pull out the drum/toner.
2. Push the button: Options (located on the left of the control pad).
3. Type: *00 on the keypad.

The Brother MFC 9440N should be reset and the Toner End of Life message should disappear. Warning, this may void your warranty and ultimately damage your machine if you are reusing or refilling your cartridges, but you should already know that. Hope this helps.

Brother MFC 7820N Printed paper has toner ink layered on paper

you can remove the toner and drum from the machine, slide the tab back and forth about 20 times then blow in the slot. when you put it back in the machine if the problem keeps happening it would be a problem with the toner cartridge and it would need to be replaced

the reason this happens to toner cartridges is because the rubber roller tarts to wear out.

How to replace the toner cartridge. Pushing down on the green lever is not releasing the toner cartridge. DCP 70 40 Brother

Remove the drum and toner unit from the machine first, then. Press the green lever while picking up on rear of the toner unit. Be careful not to grab the drum unit tray (under the toner unit), as the toner sits in a sort of tray of the drum unit.
