Change your msn name and login
If your name once is out on internet its always out there, and whit your new name and login be carefull who you add. Better to be safe then sory.

In order to access MSN or any other services you have to have a valid user name and password. It must be exact as you first typed it in. You can retrieve or replace your old passwords as well. You will not be able to access your services without a proper sign in or password so I would suggest that you create a new account for email using the same user name if it pops up and says user name already in use select retrieve passwords you will be asked to either change it or have them send it to you to your email you signed up with.

If this is lost just do another sign up and start fresh do not forget to write it down and keep it safe. I hope this assisted you. Thanks for using FixYa! John

Hi,
Unfortunately you have been infected with a Virus perhaps via Bluetooth perhaps COMMWARRIOR.
I would suggest to use this free tool removal shall it be the case.
http://symbian-freeware.web.id/symbian/security/netqin-commwarriorc-removal-tool
Shall it be another virus you can see what is the application running in background and look with google for a removal tool.

I got an email from a friend and I rang her up to talk about the email but Pam said that she did not send as it must be a virus and it was so after much cleaning up the harddrive they are still coming...

Most E-mail programs have the capability to set mail-processing "rules",
e.g., "when the FROM field contains the string 'friend@computer.name' then MOVE the message to the 'Junk Mail' folder" to automatically handle messages from your friend.

You could update the rule to add "except when the SUBJECT line contains 'really me'".

Very slow in browsing

> very slow in browsing

Brand-name of computer?
Model-number of computer?
Operating System?
Which web-browser (Chrome? Firefox? Safari? Internet Explorer 9?)
What type of Internet connection (office network, dial-up modem, DSL from your telephone-company, fibre-optic from your telephone-company, cable-modem from your cable-modem company)?
What speed does your ISP (Internet Service Provider) promise? (1.5Mbits/second, 5.0 Mbits/second, 100 Mbits/second)
How much RAM in your computer?
Which CPU (AMD? Intel? Pentium 4?)
Which web-sites are "slow" ('www.microsoft.com' should be *FAST* and the web-site for your local state/provincial government should also be *FAST*) ?
Your location (India? USA? Iceland?)
What other software is using the Internet? Bit Torrent? BearShare? MSN Messenger?
Is your anti-virus software up-to-date?
When's the most-recent "full" virus-scan?
Are you "sharing" your Internet connection with other "wired" and/or "wireless" devices (Xbox? iPod Touch?)? Are those devices "actively" using the Internet?

I am getting uneccessary links which is being forward to others

It is a hoax going around the world. It's some kind of hack made by someone. If you get the link from someone and you click it, you get the "messenger virus". This virus will make you unable to chat on messenger (yahoo or msn), and it will automaticly send links to all other people on your messenger list (all your friends and so on). This virus kinda destroys your messenger program, plus it makes the link go to all your friends too, meaning if they click it, they will send the virus to their friends, then if they click it, to their friends, and so on and so on.

Now, to be able to get the virus off your computer you first have to run antivirus, and then you need to redownload your yahoo/msn messenger. Then it'll all be normal again.

But, try never having it happen again. If you get a link with a text like "look, a photo of you!" or anything like it, just make sure you don't click it.

I hope this helps.

Window can not find gphone.exe

Hi,
gphone.exe is nowadays one of the most dangerous virus spreading very fastly. Its a trojan and changes your IE homepage and sends tries to open gtalk and yahoo messenger. It even sends messages to gtalk contacts. Its icon is just like that of folder icon and people thinking of folder click on it get infected by the virus.
Gphone virus basically is a 260 kb .exe file which looks like a folder and it can take any name of any other folder if you have clicked on the virus folder which looks like a folder but it isnt.If you have a folder name “comptalks” in your D drive it will make a exe file in the folder named comptalks.exe and if you click on that exe file it too work as a virus. It makes .exe files in all the folders you have with the name of the folder.
To remove the gphone.exe virus you just need to follow simple steps:
Go to Task Manager ->Processes and then click on gphone.exe and click on end process.
After that manually go to folder where gphone.exe is present and simply delete it.
Or simply search for the exe file clicking which started sending messages through gtalk. If you clicked on 1.exe search for that file on task manager and then delete it.

Good luck.
