You will have to get a way to connect the camera or the card to your computer, either a USB cord for the camera, which is my favorite way to quickly connect and load pictures to the computer, or get a USB card reader which you connect to the computer, inserting the card, and then downloading from card to computer. This is assuming that you have WindowsXP on the computer, so the solution is pretty automatic from there. If you have a Mac, it should also be this easy. If you have an older computer running older windows or DOS, you will have to use commands and software to connect and make the downloads. (And you should upgrade to WinXP ASAP-making your life easier!) Enjoy, digital photo work is Great!

I dont know how to upload pictures to my Coby MP705

Hello,

Pictures you want to put on the MP705 should have JPEG format:
pictures should have JPG or JPEG (capitals or small letter) extension behind its name, like photo1.jpg or mypicture.jpeg . Keep in mind that pictures with high resolution can be too large for the memory capacity your player !

You can put pictures into the player with:
> Windows Explorer:
Select start in the left corner below of the computer screen and explore
'My Computer': look for a removable disk with a capacity of 1 , 2 or 4 GB , depending on the memory your player has.
When you double click the MP705, 2 folders should show up:
1. Media: for all content that can be reached from within the player
2. Data: for all content that can be reached only, when connecting to a computer.
'Drag and drop' or 'copy and paste' pictures (JPEG) from the computer into the Media folder.
note
When exploring the player as a removable disk,
before taking out the USB cable
always go to the safely remove hardware icon in the right corner of the computer's screen below: left click and select the player's disk to disconnect
<
> Windows Media Player 11
Right click on the upper black bar to see the Help topic and left click on Help for how to transfer pictures with WMP11.
<
When you need downloads for the MP705, enter cobyusa.com in the address bar of Internet Explorer. Next enter MP705 in the Product Search bar in the page top right side and all support for this player shows up.

Pictures upload ??

Yes, you can upload picture on memory card in camera and can playback in camera as well.
Make sure that picture files are JPG format and file name must be DSC00001 to DSC99999, other then that camera will not show file in playback though memory card have it.
Connect camera with computer, click My Computer >> Removable Disk >> 101MSDCF folder and copy / paste files there.

UPLOADING PICTURES

use the usb charger and connect it to your computer, turn on your camera and choose connect to computer then click ok/menu,

on your computer click on my computer and double click on the drive that says removable disk (F:), then it will upload all the pictures to your computer you can only view and delete, but if you want to save it to y our computer you have to select all the pictures right click on the mouse and choose copy and save it to your computer or make a new folder on the deskstop.

other way:
if your computer has a memory card slot reader, then take out your memory card from your camera and place it to the computer and again go to your my computer and double click on the removable disk (F:) drive.

Pictures/Music Videos.

For pictures:

Turn on MP3 player, goto settings, make sure USB Mode is set to MSC.

Connect to Computer, go to start, > my computer > double click removable disk drive > in the removable disk drive, should be a folder labeled PHOTODIR, drag all your photos to this, they have to be JPEG.

For Videos:

Its a little more difficult, I've included the link for a setup guide, at the bottom of the guide is step by step on how to do the video conversion:
