Hello, you may have already gotten this resolved, but here are some steps to run through if you have not, or if you have further questions. Follow the link below, and that remote will be working with the volume in no time!!
The GE Universal Remote will do the job. I have on and it works for my Haier TN201AUV TV. You can also find a replacement Haier remote on Remote Hound's web site.
On the other side of this I have a Dish Network remote that WILL NOT work. The Dish Network remote does not list any codes for Haier. Dish Network Tech Support could offer no help.
In an attempt to solve the problem myself, I looked on-line at GE's site listing all of the manufacturers' for their remotes and found the identical code that worked for my Haier TV also listed under APEX TV's. The Dish Remote lists (11) APEX TV codes. Ironically, NONE OF THEM WORK!
I'm stuck with using both remotes... and that's BULL$H!T
