Download the software and drivers, making sure you have the correct windows version. Reinstall printer. if necessary write back after downloading the driver and i will write out the install process but I am thinking that it wil instal itself after you download the software.

try to use a new USB cable maybe the problem is on the cable this transfers the data from your PC to the Printer this is a common issue for printers. Or update your printer driver.

Hello, I have problem with Printer Kyocera FS-1300.. when i connect it to pc, it starts to print some symbols, like smiley face on left corner of page, and i cant stop it, when i disconnnect my device...

Hi. I would suggest that you unplug the printer, reinstall software and check you computer for viruses. If i continues, try letting it print out. maybe someone set so that 30 pages with a smiley would be printed next time you plugged it in. I how this will fix you problem.

No printing, printer says ready, will test print from menu button

Go to my computer, click on control panel, click on printer/fax and see what is set for default. What ever printer icon that says ready, right click and set as default.

My printer is not working

try and print a test page from the printer follow the onscreen instruction from the below mentioned website to print a test page :
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00213155&tmp_track_link=ot_recdoc/bpd09537/en_us/c00213155/loc:1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=372335

and if it does not proint a test page try the following steps :
1.disconnnect the power cable from the back of the printer
2.press and hold the power button for 20-30 seconds
3.restart teh computer
try and print a test page again
if still nothing happens
call hp toll free number if the printer is in warranty :1800-474-6836
and they would probably replace the printer for you.

thanks and hope this should resolve your issue

thanks and regards
Hamid

Printer doesn't respond to computer

there were many instances why the computer says "printer is not responding" either it is not configured correctly. for a start..

try this go to start- printer- right click the desired printer- open up properties- then click print test pages-

if it does print then it should work on all platforms, if it doesnt then you might have installed the wrong drivers.

try this first

Your printer has an inner setting within the menu that tells it not to pay attention to the computer's commands. The CD that came with the printer contains the users manuals. However, this is not the default setting, so maybe someone pressed the wrong buttons in the right sequence.
