Question about Philips Magnavox MWR10D6 DVD Recorder
I bought a Magnavox DVD/VCR and hooked it up to my tv with a cable box using a RF Modulator. I can play VHS tapes and DVD's just fine but when I try to use the VCR and record it does not record. I'm pretty sure it is all hooked up right because otherwise the tapes or dvd's wouldn't even play. When I try to record the counter moves like it is recording but then nothing is on the tape. If I try to hit record while watching a TV when I turn on the VCR/DVD the tv screen turns blue and I cannot see the TV program anymore.
You may have the outputs hooked up correctly however you may need to set the inputs to the selected type of cable you are using. S video 1 cable or video input witch is an rca adapter yellow in color. you will find these setting in the "setup section" on the remote set up button will get you there and then input or source.
