Question about Sony ECM-HW1 Professional Microphone
When I use the mic to record on my Sony HCR-HC42, I get no sound on the playback. The video playback is fine, but no sound. When I am recording, both blue lights are blinking on the two recording pieces--the receiver mount on the camera and the clip-on mic on my person. I get occasional blips of sounds coming through, as if there is something trying to make a connection, but does not continue.
This is odd because for the first few recordings everything worked fine. But is was VERY disappointing when I was at a family gathering trying to record family stories and got nothing when returning and trying to make it into a podcast. HELP! --**** Benner
The processor amplifier module is defective .
You need to replace it .
