Question about RCA 24F512T 24" TV
My rca 24" tv has no picture but sound. the tv is completely black like it's still off. i'm not getting any picture. i check the connections and they are correct. when i press the menu button i don't get anything on the screen. something is wrong with the picture tube. should i try to repair it or just invest in a new one? thanks in advance.
You can turn up Screen control in back of set on the High Voltage Transformer and see if you see anything like a thin white line going across screen. If this is happening then it's your vertical IC output gone. It will have to be changed and a 100uf@50v cap in the same area.
