My phone won't send texts over 146 characters long. It did the same thing when I first got it and it sporadically started working about a week later. I've had it for almost two months now. WHAT DO I DO? D:

Hi the main reason the size of your text get smaller is due to the memory on the phone if you have used a lot of the free memory on your phone then this will only allow you to send small texts, all you need to do is go through your phone and delete anything you dont need such as old inbox and outbox text, sent txts if you have this, also delete any pictures you dont need and also any ringtones you dont need, most people never use the ringtones you get free with the phone so deleting some of these will free up some memory and this will then make your txts longer.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

please rate this solution and leave a testimonial as i have pages of unrated posts, thanks

Nokia 6555b can not send or receive multi messages

hi if your going on about mms messages then all you need to do is contact your service provider and they will then send you these settings via text message that will update your phone to the correct settings. if how ever you mean your having problem sending multiple message ie more than one page then the problem is going to be more likely that your memory is full so try deleting any old messages in inbox and out box and also delete all the ringtones that you never use as alot of people never use the ringtones that came with the phone so deleting these will free up loads of memory.

Motorola V750 cant get ringtones for free?

You can txt yourself the sound and when you receive the txt you save it as a ringtone. If you have a computer with bluetooth capability you can send ringtones that you can make yourself through bluetooth. I use create-a-ringtones.com, make my own and transfer them to my phone. If anyone else wants the ringtone I just txt it to them. I just did about 18 ringtones for my husband and he has the motorola adventure v750.

Low Memory for N72

hi, do you have an extra mem card in the phone if you have then move some data to this as the phone dont use the memory on card unless you put stuff their yourself, so the phone will say mem full even if memory card is empty so try this first.
1. delete any messages in inbox/outbox/sent messages as these will take up mem
2. delete any old phone numbers/pictures/screen savers that you dont use.
3. the best way to free up loads of memory is by deleting all of the free ringtones you got with the phone most of the free ones you will never use so i deleted all of these and just kept the ringtones i used most people never use the free ones you get when buying the phone so doing this will free up loads of room. Also delete any ringtones you have put on their that you never use as the music ringtones can use loads of mem alot more than the standard tones.
4. every time you send a message your phone stores them in sent messages so delete all of these.
Once you have done all of this you will find you have loads of free memory.
The best thing to do if you have a memory card in your phone is move all the music/music ringtones that you want to keep onto the card doing this means you can still use the ringtones and free up loads of the phones memory.
The phone dont take the mem card into acount when its telling you mem full ok so put as much on mem card as you can ok.
Let me know how you get on and also if you need further assistance ok

Cingular V3 will not add or delete any ringtone

Okay this happen to my phone a while back and chances are it might happen again. but here is what you do. You need to save all of your contacts to your SIM or smart card, after you do that you need to sit with someone and decide the picture, videos, and ringtones that you want. After you have all of this decided you ne to bluetooth this to a friend who is paitent and willing to help. Once you have all the transfers done you need to do a master clear on the phone, (the reset) doen't work. This will delete everything on your phone including the problem. all that is left for you to do is send the pictures and all the other stuff back to your phone. If you have alot of ringtones I suggest you don't upload those. Motorola doesn't have an answer for this problem but more and more people are experinceing this. Good luck. if this works let me know at adrian_whs_cm@hotmail.com
