I have philips SA2825/97 mp3 player. It got completely charged out and got switched off as I was not able to charge for a few days. Then when i am charging it now it is not getting charged also the PC is not detecting the mp3player. It is ust showing Ok to disconnect. i can`t connect i pod with my pc
First, make sure the hold switch is not engaged. Then:
Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

my philips is brand new I plugged it in to my usb and the pc symbol came up with OK to disconnect for about 1 sec. then do not disconnect for about 3 sec. (each of the 3 green lights flash once) then goes back to OK to disconnect and stays there. It also dosen't show up on my computer.
