No sound on my PC -motherboard ASUS

WHEN I INSTALLED NEW WINDOWS XP PACK 2, I LOOSE THE SOUND. WHAT MAY BE HAPPEN

Yes u need to down load sound driver from ASUS website....

make sure drivers for the sound device is installed perfectly...also certain motherboards requires latest service pack for installing the sound drivers.. if you are using a windows xp then try installing service pack 3....for vista & win7 there wont be a great issue...

try to make an adjustment on your bios i think usb is disable try to enable it and sure all your usb will work.

I'm Haveing ASUS A8N-E Motherboard, I have install driver cd but I'm not able to here the sound


If you're using Windows XP and have installed service pack 3, your problem could be as simple as updates. When I updated my PC to SP3, my audio stopped working because of a flaw in SP3, that Microsoft later fixed with an update. Also, make sure you have the latest drivers for your motherboard, as there are often new releases of driver software that monufacturers host from their websites.

You are not alone, many had trubles after installin SP3, but no wories M8! i can help you with new drivers.

A window will apear for you where you be asked toi select OS, select XP as your os.
Now you will see all avalible drivers for your Asus, download and install all the drivers you need and want

goto control panel switch to classic view , double click add remove programs , then when the list comes up look for service pack2 and remove , then restart computer

go to the support site for your motherboard, there you will get universal bus architecture device drive. Install this before you install the Audio/Sound driver.
