If it is nothing but static on the tuner that means that the blue wire on the harness which hooks up to the one originally coming from the car is not hooked up to the blue or blue/white from the pioneer. Or you yanked on the antenna so hard that it disconnected from a connection point in the car.
Hi I was wondering were can i buy any one of these head units, i really want the Pioneer Deh-p9650. but i cant not find one place were i can buy it. i usto have the 8400mp like 6 or 7 years ago but i sold it and now i want a nother 1... i would really like to buy the Pioneer Deh-p9650mp so if any one can point me in the right direction i would be more then greatful.
Pioneer usually use:
red - 12 volt batt. ignition/acc
yellow - 12 volt batt. memory
black - ground
blue - power ant.
blue/white - amp turn on
orange - illumination ( 12 volt light ) ( not all deck )
orange/white - dimmer ( not all deck )
gray - right front +
gray/black - right front -
white - left front +
white/black - left front -
violet - right rear +
violet/black - right rear -
green - left rear +
green/black - left rear -
red-------ignition yellow--constant black---ground white----drvrs front speaker green---drivrs rear grey-----pass front purple--pass rear Black indicators on the speaker wires are negative blue-----remote turn on orange--dimmer
