HELP ME FIX MY MONITOR PLEASE

my lcd monitor will switch-on but it's totally black...but you can sense that the screen is like flickering and you could also hear the flickering sound from the switch button and the screen itself...please help me find a solution!

-   I have the same problem. when the monitor is connected and turned on, if flashes a white light and then turn to black repeatedly, like its flickering.
