Question about Dell Dimension 2350 PC Desktop
We have a NEC Versa P7200 that was happily connecting wirelessly to our Netgear Router, then just stopped working for some reason.
Within the Network Connections window, the LAN connection advises that the network cable is unplugged, and the Wireless connection advises it's not connected.
I've tried; uninstalling/ re-installing both controllers, installing new drivers, re-formatting my hard drive with no luck
I'm at a loss as to why I can't connect and what I can try next.
I believe that all you really had to do was just unplug the router for a few seconds then reboot it and try again to connect to it. I've a few routers that for no apparent reason just go off-line wirelessly and that would fix it. You also could just check it's settings to verify it is configured correctly before rebooting it.
Formatting your hard drive was a bit in the wrong direction and a needless process.
