Save your data , reload o/s and check if speed is acceptable. If not upgrade to max ram and check speed again. If no results ;sell it.

Make sure that you have at least 20% of the hard drive free, carry out a defrag and then a scandisk. Check that the processor fan is clear and running fast as a hot processor runs slower (self preservation)
