Question about Lands Phones
To unlock this phone yourself you can download GOT (got.bz), purchase a day or month's worth of access to the GOT server, hook up the phone to the computer through the USB cable and unlock it using the software. This is relatively inexpensive and has the added advantage of being fun to do + the "I unlocked my cell phone myself" vibe that goes with it.
Alternatively, with the information above, if you are a T-Mobile subscriber for more than 45 days you can request the subsidy code and they will provide it for free. If you have a good friend who is a T-Mobile subscriber have them use the phone for a day or so and then request the code.
Finally, there is the go on eBay and purchase a subsidy code for your phone solution. I've not had to purchase unlock codes for T-Mobile so I can not make any suggestions for a relaible source as I could for unlock codes for AT&T.
A hardware solution to the subsidy problem is the x-sim type device which slips between the SIM contacts and the SIM and convinces the phone you have the correct SIM in place.
Some phones, not yours, are unlockable by entering a series of set codes that are the same for all units of that model. The Samsung Katalyst for example. Your model has a unique and random code assigned to each unit.
I hope some of this helps you to remove the code. If you require aditional information please ask.
