I have an Acer Aspire 5100 Everything was normal but then while I was using it a message appear in the screen "Preparing to invernate" and then suddenly shuts dowm and now I can't turn it on again I took off th battery to tryagain but nothing happen whta can I do
If you hold down the power button for about 15-20 seconds it will reset the system or something, & maybe work? Mine messes up sometimes & other times it freezes up & I must do that.

This is probably a hardware issue with the monitor. Just to make sure, uninstall, and reinstall the monitor's driver. If that doesn't fix it, it's a hardware issue.
You will have to either take it to a shop, or contact the manufacturer (your computer should be under warranty if you've had it for less than a year).
open the laptop and disconnect the cmos battery.wait for a minute then then replace back the battery.then post screans messages will appear.follow screen instructions.u
