After replacement of batteries, universal remote controls, need to have setup with the device, using device codes. Just find out the setup code for Admiral TV, and setup the remote with it. Setup proceedings, and code lists are given in detail in this site. 'Electro-help' is the site name. Type in 'electronicshelponline.blogspot' in your browsers' search box, and click search. It is a blogspot site in English language. Pull up older posts there. You can get all details you want from here.

SOURCE: Insignia TV code for RCA Universial Remote Control (RCR450)

What about trying a code search with the remote itself.. Turn on your tv, Push and hold the TV button till it blinks, then press and hold then SETUP button while pressing and releasing the PWR button continously till the tv powers off. Once it does that, press PWR again. TV should come on and the code will then stay locked in.. Good luck again

Our remote control for our Jensen JE2608 is not responding - we have replaced the batteries but still nothing - it seems the little light does not come on - do i need to replace the remote??

Normally, when the light does not come on and nothing happens, it means that there's a fault connection inside the remote somewhere critical (Meaning a wire is not touching where its supposed to.)

My brother fixed several remotes, but he's an electronic whiz and used a good deal of soldering.
Give the remote a few good taps (smack it on your hand, never hit hard surfaces), and see if it makes its connection again, even for a moment.

Whether or not this is the problem, it sounds like you'll be needing a new remote. I suggest going to walmart or best buy and talking to an employee about remotes and which ones work for which televisions, and then order one for a decent price online.

Sidenote: Make sure that the batteries are in correctly.
Make sure that the springs in the battery compartment are functioning as they should and the batteries aren't sliding around, even a little.

That's all I got. Hope it helps.

Emerson ceiling fan remote won't work

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check its battery contacts for any rust or dust. Check it with fresh batteries.

Audio isn't working

ya know I hate to say it but I've done this before. check the mute button on your remote. I've accidently hit mine before and it took me several days to realize it. lol. if it's not that. check the volume of the set itself, then check the volume with the remote....I know these are weird things to check, but they do & have happened, to me. lol. good luck & God bless.

Lock remote stopped working. changed baterry, tried to reprogram as per manual nothing works

some auto parts stores have a display at the counter where they sell new remotes or fob's. The display has a sensor that lights up when you use your remote. Point the remote at the display and press any button if the light comes on your fob is likely ok. may need to check the receiver. good luck

Nothing happening

Check your power and ground connections thoroughly. Also, check your remote turn-on connection. To test it, short the remote and the +12V connections together at the amp. This should force the amp to turn on. If all of the connections are good, there may be an issue inside the amp that will need repair.
