SuperMicro H8DCE-Motherboard no video

Here is my problem, I have installed this supermicro h8dce motherboard and there is no output from the video card. I think that I have everything set up properly, everything is running and all of the lights along with the fans are on. The processor is fine, the processor works on another pc. Even though you can not see the POST there seems to be no beeping. The hard drive is running the memory is installed properly, and so is the cpu. I can not see the bios, I know that the screen is good. The video card that I have is e-geforce 9600 gso. As I mentioned before everything seems to be running when I turn the computer on, there just seems to be no video displaying that

I have exactly the same problem. I contacted Supermicro and they said that it was a power supply compatabily problem. they sugested that I take out the memory and see if I gat any beeps to indicate that there was no memory. I took out the memory snd still got no beeps. This means that the BIOS is not getting to through the memory test.

So I bought another power supply. Now I get beeps when I tqke out the memory but still no video.

Others have sugested that I do not have enough 5 VDC stanby. I have 3A now.

    Can Anyone out there help?

Are you hooking up The 24 pin ATX J1B1 connector and the 8 pin processor power connector JBW1 ? Alot of guys don't realize that new AMD's get power from a special connector on the motherboard..If you don't have this connector on your power supply you will need to get one that does. Hope it is this easy.

Supermicro x8sax memory bank issues

The X8SAX motherboard has 6 memory slots. Try booting with one memory stick in each slot to identify which memory bank (dimm slot) is giving you issues. If you are able to boot off of a good slot, check the BIOS version to make sure you have the latest installed (R 2.0b). It can be downloaded here: Super Micro Computer Inc Products Motherboards Xeon Boards X8SAX

If you are unable to get into the BIOS at all, check the warranty status and submit an RMA request to Supermicro:

How i solve supermicro x8dt3-f display problem

Make sure JPG1 is jumpered between pins one and two.
Pin 1 is on the left.
JPG1 is on the very bottom of the motherboard, near the end of the PCI slot.
Next go to Advanced Setup Configuration if you can get any video, and check Boot Graphics Adapter Priority.
Make sure it is set to Onboard VGA.
If no video, reset the BIOS.
Onboard VGA is the default.

Check the cabling. You may have a 16pin cable plugged into the motherboard backwards. I would try reversing the 16P connector to see if that solves the issue. Next, I would try booting off of 1 stick of RAM (trying each dimm slot). If that fails I would check the CPU slot for bent pins. If any of them are bent you will need to RMA the board. Lastly, if there are no bent pins, it may be the video adapter and will need to be RMA'd. You can check the warranty status here:

I dont have specific info on this board, but most of the time you may need to set up a jumper to support 2 cpu's or with the 1 installed go into bios and see if there is a setting there that you can set. Another possibility may be the other chip is bad...swap the 2 out to see if it works...then you can rule that out...go to is the manual for it...

SuperMicro H8DCE-O R Motherboard no video

did you plug up toe power to the video card, the problem seems to be that the video card is getting no power, if the power is hooked up properly to the video card, the your power supply is probably not powerful enough.

My supermicro mother board can not pick this type of SDRAM PC133U-333-542, meanwhile the memory slot is SDRAM

You are using the wrong memory.
A SuperMicro 370DLE only supports registered memory.
The U in the code shows that the memory you have installed is unregistered.
It will not work.
Exchange the memory for registered memory ,and the system should work fine.
