Question about Heating & Cooling
If you pull the unit out of the case it should have a wireing diagram in a envelope near the compressor

You may want to check the thermocouple. It should be located on the front coil. You have to remove the front cover to see it. However, close the vents and try it. If is overly humid that front coil will just condense all available outside humidity and the thermostat will be frozen. Pull the thermo stat away from the coil so it is not being frozen. Replace TC after that test Good luck.

Just had the Amani service guy out. Had the same problem. It was the capacitor. Took about 15 mins to fix. The machine turns off to protect itself because it knows something's wrong

On the timer function, when you press the button, it will ask you the starting time and ending time of when the unit will start and turn off by itself. prior to use this function, the clock on the control has to be set.. On the sleep function, it will give you the option to turn off unit on 30 min. intervals. Just like on a TV.
