I have the 9950 phenom and I am trying to biuld a raid 0 array with two OCZ 30gb SSD v2 hard drives. I figured out how to hit Ctrl+F to enter the raid building utility. I built the aray and rebooted. T he bios sees the array, but it gets hung on the screen where it give the raid array info. I have to clear the CMOS to be able to get back into the BIOS setup. IO tryed the same thing with my 74gb raptors and had the same problem. So, I tryed to load XP Pro and Vista Ult.32 and 64 bit on 1 of the hard drives (both the raptor and one SSD) But now, I can get the temp files to load off the install disk, but when we get to the point where is says "setup is starting windows" it just hangs and nothing happens. I have no idea what is going on?

Check your motherboard BIOS or System Date.. by pressing Delete key while turning on the computer... in Main menu in BIOS change the Date.. and save the setting by pressing F10 and restart then try to install again the OS. TY

I have a Foxconn A79A-S motherboard. bought it about a year ago, kept it stored in closet I hardly ever go into. I built the computer up this past week, and I'm disappointed to see that nothing seems to...

Installing a motherboard can be a bit overwhelming if one hasn't built many. So I'm going to add a link that will walk you through the process. The board is not a Foxconn but that will not matter all MBs share the basic build. Click on the link provided below to begian; http://www.pcmech.com/byopc/step-9-install-the-motherboard/
If you get stuck any where you can add you're question into this same section. FixYa will relay you're question to my email box and I will reply.

I cant install vista OS on this MBD , by sata HDD

You must enter setup at boot and select the CD/DVD as first boot. Then ensure that the BIOS settings have SATA enabled. When CD/DVD is first boot watch the screen for 'press any key to boot from cd' message is displayed. The boot screen will say how to enter setup. Typical buttons are F2, Delete, F1, F10 -you did not say which manufacturer. OEM trumps mobo maker with BIOS setup.
